Children’s home plans ‘giant’ thrift store sale

The St. Joseph Children’s Home, 2823 Frankfort Avenue, will hold a “Giant Thrift Store Sale” on June 30 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The sale will feature furniture, clothing and household items,  including those stored in the campus garages. The garages are slated to be removed to make way for the construction of residential cottages on the campus.

The sale also will feature local food trucks and a mini farmer’s market on the St. Joseph Children’s Home lawn. It is being held in connection with  the Frankfort Avenue Business Association’s (FABA) neighborhood-wide yard sale and sidewalk sale.

The event is free and open to the public. For more information, call St. Joseph Children’s Home at 893-0241 or visit its website at www.sjkids.org.
