The Catholic Committee on Scouting’s 67th annual Prayer Service and Emblem Presentation will be held Jan. 27 at 2 p.m. at the Cathedral of the Assumption. Archbishop Joseph E. Kurtz and the committee’s chaplain, Father Jeff Gatlin, will preside.

About 200 scouts will receive emblems. Cub Scouts will receive Light of Christ and Parvuli Dei emblems. Boy Scouts and Venture Crew members will receive Ad Altare Dei and Pope Pius XII emblems.

Several adults also will be honored with the St. George Award for their contributions to scouting. Scouts may bring their flags to be blessed.
