Kentucky Right to Life scholarships

Kentucky Right to Life and Right to Life Educational Foundation of Kentucky presented its first Pro-Life Next Generation Legacy Scholarships to nine 2021 graduates, including four from the Archdiocese of Louisville.

Winners from the archdiocese are:

Braden Heuglin, a graduate of Trinity High School, and Michelle Kenny, a graduate of Holy Angels Academy, who were named winners of the Legacy Founders Scholarship.

These scholarships honor the “vision and dedication of Kentucky Right to Life founders Judge Robert Greene, Paul Kissel and Margie Montgomery,” said a release from KRTL. The winners received $1,000 in scholarship money.

Megan Doyle, a graduate of Sacred Heart Academy, and Maria Bella Kovats, a graduate of Assumption High School, won the ProLife Next Generation Meritorious Scholarship Award, which honors “individuals who demonstrated exceptional pro-life leadership and commitment to the most vulnerable in our culture and dedication to the essence of our pro-life mission,” said the release. The winners received $250 in scholarship money.
