The Catholic Enrichment Center at 3146 W. Broadway is now home to a Kids Cafe, opened recently in conjunction with the Dare to Care Community Kitchen.
The Kids Cafe will offer free meals to children 18 years old or younger Monday through Friday from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. If there is inclement weather and Jefferson County Public Schools are closed, the Kids Cafe will also be closed. If schools are delayed, the cafe will open at its regular time.
The cafe will also be closed whenever the Catholic Enrichment Center is closed. Those dates include Thanksgiving Day and the
day after Thanksgiving; Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and the day after Christmas; New Year’s Day and Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Jan. 19; along with April 3 and May 25 in 2015.
