Catholic Cemeteries continues to be in need of seasonal and full time grounds employees. The seasonal work will involve string trimming around cemetery markers for 28 hours a week.
The pay for that position is $10.60 an hour, and hours are Monday through Thursday from 7:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. until Oct. 31.
Applicants must be 18 years old and must pass drug and a background checks.
The full time positions that are open are often filled by those who have worked a few months as a seasonal string trimmer. Full time positions may involve string trimming, mowing, and assisting with other cemetery grounds tasks and burials. Full time hours will be 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. 40 hours a week, with some overtime possible. If interested in either position, please call the Catholic Cemeteries office at 451-7710.
