Butchertown parish to launch 150th anniversary celebration on Nov. 15

St. Joseph Church, 1406 E. Washington St., will celebrate its 150th anniversary in 2016 with the theme “Reflect, Rejoice, Renew.”

There will be three main events:

  • A unity Mass and brunch will take place on Nov. 15, 2015, at 11:30 a.m. The unity Mass will be a celebration of the parish’s past. All current and former parishioners, students and friends are invited to attend. The cost of the brunch is $5 and tickets are available for purchase by calling the parish office at 583-7401.
  •  A St. Joseph feast day Mass and festival will be held March 19, 2016.
  •  A celebration Mass and dinner gala will take place on May 14, 2016.
