Buffalo Wild Wings, Shelbyville Road, to host ‘Angels Day’ July 11

Buffalo Wild Wings, 4600 Shelbyville Road, will host “Angels Day” July 11 from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. where individuals born with Down syndrome will partner with the restaurant’s servers to greet customers, and help with food orders.

“Angels Day” is a partnership between Buffalo Wild Wings and Angels in Disguise, a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting the dignity and value of people with Down syndrome, according to a statement from organizers. Fifteen percent of the day’s proceeds will benefit Angels in Disguise. The event serves as a kick-off to Angels in Disguise’s annual gala at Churchill Downs and a golf scramble at Quail Chase golf course.
