American Heritage Girls to hold open house

American Heritage Girls Troop 1031 will host an open house at 5 p.m. Sept. 9 at St. Martin of Tours Church, 639 S. Shelby St.

American Heritage Girls is a Christ-centered character and leadership development program for girls 5 to 18 years of age. Its mission is building women of integrity through service to God, family, community and country, according to the organization’s website.
