The Knights of Columbus Council 1290 of Bardstown, Ky., donated $2,547 to the Bread of Life food pantry. The funds were collected during their 40 Cans for Lent food drive.
In addition, the Knights also donated 820 pounds of food to the pantry.
The pantry is operated by the Basilica of St. Joseph Proto-Cathedral’s St. Vincent de Paul Outreach Ministries and serves people in Nelson County who are in need of assistance.
