Nativity Academy creates new scholarship

Nativity Academy at St. Boniface has created the Sister Paula Kleine-Kracht Scholarship to help sponsor a needy student who’d like to attend the school. The scholarship will also benefit a Nativity eighth-grader who’d like to attend a Catholic high school.

The scholarship honors Sister Kleine-Kracht, an Ursuline Sister, who was the school’s first executive director. It was created in celebration of Catholic Sisters Week — which runs through March 14 — as well as to commemorate Nativity’s 20th anniversary, according to an announcement from the Ursuline Sisters. The sisters are asking that individuals consider a donation of $20 or more.

Nativity Academy is an independent Catholic school that serves children from low-income families.

For more information on the scholarship or to make a donation, visit https://nativitylouisville.org/ or call the school’s office at 855-3300.
