Margaret and Gary Holmes, members of St. Ignatius Martyr Church, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary Jan. 10. Mrs. Holmes, the former Margaret Pike, is a retired teaching assistant. Mr. Holmes is a retired lab tech and registered nurse. The couple, who are both Veterans of the United States Navy and served in Vietnam, met in the service. They have two sons.
