World Refugee Day event celebrates newcomers

Catholic Charities of Louisville Migration and Refugee Services hosted a World Refugee Day celebration at June 20 at St. Ignatius Martyr Church in Okolona. The event featured cultural performance and international food.

World Refugee Day is observed globally June 20 to raise awareness of the plight of refugees.
