Electronics recycling event set at Mount Washington parish March 30

St. Francis Xavier Church in Mount Washington, Ky., will hold an electronics recycling event on March 30 from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

Items will be recycled for free, including batteries, cables, CDs, cell phones, circuit boards, computers, docking stations, fax machines, hard drives, ink and toner cartridges, keyboards, laptops, UPS units, microwaves, video games and more will be accepted.

Televisions, CRT monitors, light bulbs, ballast and appliances will not be accepted.

The event also will include free paper shredding. A portion of proceeds from selling recycled materials will benefit St. Francis Xavier Church.
