Gennesaret Ministries Inc. will offer the next Gennesaret Retreat for the Seriously Ill Oct. 26-28 at the Abbey of Gethsemani, located south of Bardstown, Ky.
The retreat is designed for persons who live with chronic, life-threatening illness. It provides rest, prayerful reflection and daily conferences, a news release from organizers said.
The Eucharist is celebrated daily and the sacrament of the anointing of the sick will be offered. The retreat includes an experienced nursing staff with additional team members providing hospitality, companionship and personal assistance for all participants.
