Spalding University held its commencement exercises June 2 at Canaan Christian Church. Six hundred forty-five students who have completed or will soon complete bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral programs during the 2017-2018 term were recognized. Spalding also gave five individuals honorary degrees or special awards that “recognize service, philanthropy, leadership and dedication to the greater good,” a news release from Spalding said.
