The Catholic Enrichment Center (CEC) of the Archdiocese of Louisville’s Office of Multicultural Ministry will offer the 2018 Camp Africa Summer Academic and Cultural Enrichment Program from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. June 4 through July 20 at the center, 3146 W. Broadway.
The seven-week program is for children in first- through eighth-grades. It will offer “cultural and academic enrichment opportunities in the areas of math, reading, writing skills, science and more along with a cultural arts experience from an africentric perspective,” according to a statement from the CEC.
The cost is $350 per child and includes breakfast, lunch, snacks and field trips. There’s a non-refundable $50 registration fee. Applications are being accepted and spaces are limited. For more information or to register, call the CEC at 776-0262.
