St. Athanasius students learn life-saving lessons

Renée Cecil, R.N., nurse manager for Norton Audubon Hospital Emergency Department, provided CPR instruction Nov. 17 to St. Athanasius School eighth-graders. Cecil and her husband, Major Roger Cecil of the Highview Fire Department, provided training for seventh- and eighth-grade students. Students learned the signs and symptoms of a heart attack and were provided instruction on the use of an AED (automated external defibrillator) portable device.
