Resurrectionist Father John Miles died Nov. 20 at age 90.
Father Miles was born in London, Ontario, Canada.He was ordained in 1951. He served as a teacher and also served for 18 years as a preacher for Food for the Poor. In 2006 Father Miles became a senior associate pastor of St. Margaret Mary Church in the Archdiocese of Louisville.
The Funeral Mass will be celebrated Nov. 24 at 6 p.m. at St. Margaret Mary Church, 7813 Shelbyville Road. Visitation will be held in the church from 1 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.
A private burial will take place Nov. 25 in the Resurrectionist section of Calvary Cemetery.
