Sacred Heart Model School student writes winning poem

SacredHeartSchools-fHannah Talbott, who graduated from Sacred Heart Model School this spring, has been honored by Catholic Charities of Louisville and the national Catholic Campaign for Human Development (CCHD), the anti-poverty program of United States Conference of Catholic Bishops.

Hannah wrote a poem related to the work of CCHD called “The Streets.” The poem, which appears below this announcement, describes the life of a child living in poverty. She was honored by Catholic Charities on June 2 and received an honorable mention in the CCHD’s “Being Neighbors in Our Common Home” young artist’s contest.
