The Trinity High School debate team took part in the Wyatt Debate League City Championship April 22 at the University of Louisville.
Junior Cooper Winrich was named runner-up in the congressional debate category.
Porter Hunt and Walker Evans were named runners-up in the novice public forum category. Ben Taylor and Porter Hunt were awarded scholarships in the amount of $1,300 each.
