An evening storm April 5 battered the campus of the Sisters of Charity of Nazareth near Bardstown, Ky. Strong wind felled a pine tree in the sisters’ historic cemetery and brought down trees on other parts of the campus. Hail also broke windows in the sisters’ St. Vincent de Paul Church, right, and other buildings. Sisters and other volunteers, above, cleared storm debris April 7. At least two buildings also had roof damage, according to information provided by the sisters.
