St. Meinrad to offer day of reflection for lay ministers on March 24

St. Meinrad Seminary and School of Theology will host a day of reflection for lay ministers on March 24 from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. (CDT) at the Archabbey Guest House and Retreat Center.

Dr. Barbara Sutton, adjunct professor of theology at St. John’s School of Theology and Seminary in Collegeville. Minn., will “provide insight into how those living the vocation of a lay ecclesial minister interpret their experience,” said a press release from St. Meinrad.

“The Words and Images exhibit, which will be on display in the Saint Meinrad Archabbey Library, will provide a starting point for reflection by engaging the imagination through an artistic process of collaging and writing,” the release said. “Participants will practice exploring their experiences of ministry through the creative use of words and images.”

The cost is $25 and includes lunch, refreshments and materials. A registration form can be found at www.saintmeinrad.edu/media/431159/day_of_reflection.pdf.
