The Archdiocese of Louisville’s first 5K race was held at the Louisville Zoo Oct. 15. The event, aimed at promoting health and wellness, was open to employees of the archdiocese and their families.
Colin Triplett pushed his daughter Adelaide in a stroller alongside his wife Joanne. Triplett, director of Catholic Charities’ migration and refugee services, placed second in his age group.
Archbishop Joseph E. Kurtz walked with a family after they finished the race. The archbishop placed second in his age group.
