A Mass of Thanksgiving for couples who will celebrate 30, 40, 50, 60 or 60+ years of marriage in 2016 will be celebrated on Oct. 23 at 2 p.m. at the Cathedral of the Assumption, 433 S. Fifth Street.
Archbishop Joseph E. Kurtz will celebrate the liturgy. Each couple will receive a certificate commemorating the occasion.
Pre-registration, which is required, can be made by calling your parish office. The registration deadline is Oct. 11.
