Mercy Academy alumna receives 2016 ‘Circle of Mercy’ award

Mercy-Academy-Logo-wMonya Hubbuch Mills, a 1954 Mercy Academy graduate, has been chosen as the 2016 Circle of Mercy Alumnae Award recipient.

This award, formerly known as the Alumna of the Year Award, is given to a Mercy graduate “whose life is a reflection of the Mercy Creed; someone who is living out their faith and serves as a role model for Mercy girls,” a news release from the school said.

Mills, a parishioner of St. Gabriel Church, has served as a Girl Scout leader, cafeteria worker, PTA member, a long-time Bingo worker and a volunteer school nurse.
