Dr. William J. Godrey III, a 1955 graduate of St. Xavier, received the 2016 Outstanding Alumnus Award during the school’s commencement exercises May 22 at Broadbent Arena.
Godfrey is a physician in private practice in Elizabethtown, Ky. He served in the U.S. Navy and has practiced at Hardin Memorial Hospital for more than 40 years.
He is a member of St. James Church in Elizabethtown, where he serves as a eucharistic minister and as a member of the respect life and adoration committees.
