Holy Trinity students celebrate National Rosary Month

Fifth-graders at Holy Trinity School, 423 Cherrywood Road, studied the rosary in October to celebrate National Rosary Month.

This year, the students’ unit on the rosary coincided with Pope Francis’ visit to the United States. Students watched his addresses while making “divine twine” rope rosaries, a news release from the school said.

Students also “explored the history of the rosary, analyzed prayers, learned the mysteries and created a book to illustrate and summarize their work,” the release said. The fifth-graders presented their work to the parish and school communities at a prayer service hosted by the students.
