Mission in preparation for the Holy Year of Mercy planned at St. Martha

St. Martha Church at 2825 Klondike Lane, will hold a parish mission called, “In Preparation for the Holy Year of Mercy,” Nov. 16 to 18.
Catholic biblical scholar Stephen J. Binz will give presentations from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. each night of the mission.

The Nov. 16 program, on “The Divine Mercy of Our God,” will be preceded by confession at 5:30 p.m.

The Nov. 17 presentation, “The Sacred Heart of Jesus,” will be accompanied by eucharistic adoration from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.

The Nov. 18 program will focus on the spiritual and corporal works of mercy. The rosary will be prayed at 6 p.m., followed by the Chaplet of Divine Mercy.

All are welcome. Babysitting is available, but reservations must be made by calling 491-8535, ext. 28.
