The Office of Multicultural Ministry’s Catholic Enrichment Center, 3146 W. Broadway, will host the fourth annual “Heroes of Hope: Saluting Community Leaders” event on Oct. 30 at 11:30 a.m.
The event honors individuals, agencies and businesses in the community “for their contributions to and support of youth development, family empowerment, the Archdiocese of Louisville’s Office of Multicultural Ministry and its Catholic Enrichment Center,” a news announcement about the event said. The event also raises funds for the center.
This year’s recipients are A.D. Porter & Sons Funeral Home, Family & Children’s Place and St. Albert the Great Church’s GAP Club Ministry.
Tickets are $30 per person and can be purchased by calling the Catholic Enrichment Center at 776-0262.
