St. Leonard School celebrates 60 years

St. Leonard School, 440 Zorn Ave., will commemorate the school’s 60th anniversary with “Cheers to 60 Years,” a celebration following 4:30 p.m. Mass Feb. 4 and after 10 a.m. Mass Feb. 5.

St. Leonard opened in September of 1957 with five Ursuline Sisters of Mt. Saint Joseph serving as teachers and one lay music teacher. The school now has an enrollment of 159 students in preschool through eighth-grade.

Alumni are invited to attend the February events and take tours of the school. Memories or photos to be shared at the event should be sent to lemly@stleonard
