The Sacred Heart Academy volleyball team won the state volleyball championship during a game at Valley High School Nov. 6.
Senior Paige Hammons was named the tournament’s Most Valuable Player. Senior Lauryn Bennett was named the 2016 Midway University KHSAA Female Student-Athlete of the Year. Paige Hammons, Lauryn Bennett and Nadia Dieudonne were named to the All-Tournament team.
