Dozens of people, including women religious, held hands along West Broadway May 21 during “Hands Across Louisville,” an event to promote unity and advocate for an end to gun violence in the West End and the wider city.

Participants heard from survivors of gun violence and family members of victims.

The event also featured music and activities. Local churches, clergy, religious orders and individuals took part in the event.
