Presentation on Laudato Si’ offered at area churches

LaudatoSiA 45-minute presentation on Pope Francis’ encyclical on ecology, “Laudato Si’,” is being offered by Father Jim Flynn, a retired priest of the Archdiocese of Louisville, in English and Spanish. So far, he is scheduled to give presentations at:

  • The Casa Latina Catholic Worker, 230 Woodbine St., today, Aug. 13. A potluck dinner will begin at 6 p.m. and will be followed by the program.
  • Crescent Hill Presbyterian Church, 142 Crescent Avenue, on Aug. 20 at 7 p.m.
  • St. Joseph Church, 1406 E. Washington St., on Aug. 30 at 10:45 a.m.
  • St. Bartholomew Church, 2042 Buechel Bank Road, (in Spanish) on Sept. 5 after the 6 p.m. Mass.
  • Holy Name Church, 2914 S. Third St., (in Spanish) Sept. 20 after the 4:30 p.m. Mass.
