Pilgrimages to Monte Cassino Shrine planned on Sundays in May

Pilgrimages to honor the Blessed Mother at the Monte Cassino Shrine in Southern Indiana have been organized by St. Meinrad Archabbey on the four Sundays of May beginning at 2 p.m. (CDT).

The pilgrimages will include a short sermon, a rosary procession and the Litany to the Blessed Virgin.

The speakers will be: May 5, Benedictine Brother Philipp Steiner who will preach on “Living in the house of Mary;” May 12, Benedictine Father Joseph Cox on “Mary our Mother;” May 19, Benedictine novice Matthew Sprauer, “Mary, Model of Hospitality;” and May 26, Benedictine novice Bradley Jensen, “Mary full of grace.”

The Monte Cassino Shrine is located one mile East of St. Meinrad Archabbey on State Highway 62 in St. Meinrad, Ind.
