Clothing sale
Trinity High School will host a used clothing sale Aug. 9 from 9 a.m. to noon in the school’s Convocation Hall, 4011 Shelbyville Road.
Dress shirts will be $2; dress pants will be $3; jackets are $5; and ties will sell for $1.

Eagle Scout
Thomas Chicani, a sophomore at St. Xavier High School, has achieved the rank of Eagle Scout in the Boy Scouts of America. Chicani is a member of Troop 380 at St. Patrick Church.
For his Eagle Scout Leadership Project, Chicani coordinated and led a group of 32 people who participated in the expansion of Lifehouse Maternity home. The group installed 42 wire shelves in 18 closets. The group working at Lifehouse received a blessing from St. Patrick pastor Father Jeffrey Shooner.
Kindergarten fun
The next Kindergarten Countdown event is today at Slugger Field, 401 E. Main Street, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
The last event will be Aug. 9 at the Louisville Free Public Library, 301 York Street when StageOne Family Theatre will host a performance at 10 a.m.
