Gene and Judy Powell Mills, members of St. Martin of Tours Church in Flaherty, Ky., will celebrate their 65th wedding anniversary on June 3. Mr. and Mrs. Mills are both retired. The couple have two children, two grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Rick D. and Celesta D. Arnold, members of St. Peter the Apostle Church, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on May 29. Mrs. Arnold, the former Celesta Hutchison, who is retired, formerly served as the RCIA director for Our Lady of Consolation Church. Mr. Arnold, a former state deputy for the Knights of Columbus, retired after 45 years of service at Vertiv as the inventory control manager. They renewed their vows on May 9 at St. Peter the Apostle. The couple have two children and six grandchildren.
Karen and James R. Aubrey Sr., members of Holy Trinity Church, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on May 29. Mrs. Aubrey, the former Karen Heustis, is a retired nurse who served with Baptist Health in Louisville for 44 years. Mr. Aubrey is self-employed. The couple have three children and eight grandchildren.
Paul and Kaye Willett, members of St. Margaret Mary Church, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on May 15. Mrs. Willett is a dental hygienist. Mr. Willett is retired from American Airlines and works at Churchill Downs. The couple have four children and two grandchildren.
