Mr. and Mrs. Albert M. Elliott, members of St. John Paul II Church, will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary today, June 10. Mrs. Crawford, the former Mary Sharon Crawford, retired as a legal secretary. Mr. Elliott retired as an electrician. The couple have four children and six grandchildren.
Mr. and Mrs. Ernie L. Bramer, members of St. Aloysius Church in Shepherdsville, Ky., will celebrate their 65th wedding anniversary June 16. Mrs. Bramer is the former Barbara J. Herm. The couple operated Ernie’s Print Shop for 54 years until their retirement. They have four children, nine grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Bob and Judy Davis, members of St. Albert the Great Church, are celebrating their 60th wedding anniversary today, June 10. Mrs. Davis, the former Judy Roederer, retired as assistant principal of Ascension School. Mr. Davis is the president and founder of Commonwealth Schools of Insurance. The couple have four children, 10 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. They will celebrate with a family gathering.
Dr. and Mrs. Bill J. Rothwell, members of St. Margaret Mary Church, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on June 12. Mrs. Rothwell, the former Sandi Brewer, is a homemaker and retired preschool teacher. Dr. Rothwell is vice president emeritus of the University of Louisville. The couple have three children and six grandchildren. They will celebrate with a trip to New Hampshire.
Deacon Phil and Alice Noltemeyer, members of St. Aloysius Church in Pewee Valley, Ky., will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on June 12. Mrs. Noltemeyer, the former Alice Bryan, retired from Hardin County Schools. Deacon Noltemeyer retired from the U.S. Air Force and is a retired building inspector for the Louisville International Airport. The couple have four children and eight grandchildren. Family and friends are invited to celebrate at an 11 a.m. Mass June 12 at their parish. It will be followed by a reception.
Joseph and Janet Chambers, members of St. Teresa of Calcutta Church in Fairdale, Ky., will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary today, June 10. Mrs. Chambers, the former Janet Phelps, retired from JCPS as a teacher assistant. Mr. Chambers retired from the transportation industry. The couple have two children and a grandchild.
