Ursuline Sister Rita Agnes (Felice) Link dies at 82

Ursuline Sister Rita Agnes (Felice) Link, 82, died Jan. 12 at Mercy Sacred Heart in Louisville. She was a native of Louisville and had been a member of the Ursuline Sisters since 1947.

Sister Link served in Louisville in food services at Ursuline College, Sacred Heart Academy and Sacred Heart Model School. She ministered at the Ursuline Motherhouse and in convents at St. Helen, St. Raphael, St. Rita, St. Vincent de Paul and Our Mother of Sorrows churches in the 1960s, ’70s, and ’80s.

She was a nursing assistant at Marian Home on the Ursuline campus from 1987 to 1994, and int he 1950s she ministered in Ursuline convents in Sidney and Omaha, Neb.

Survivors include a sister, Celeste Link; a brother, Titus Link; nieces and nephews; and members of the Ursuline community.

Visitation will be at the Ursuline Motherhouse, 3115 Lexington Road, on Jan. 16 from 4 p.m. to  7 p.m., followed by a vigil service at 7 p.m.

The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Jan. 17 at 11 a.m. in the Ursuline Motherhouse Chapel. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the Ursuline Sisters Mission Advancement Office, 3105 Lexington Road, Louisville, Ky. 40206.
