Trinity presents ‘Honor Alumnus Award’ and ‘Peace Medal’ to alumni

trinity-logo---5.7.15-wAlan Hennessey , a 1969 graduate, was presented with the Trinity High School ‘s 2017 Honor Alumnus Award May 21 during the school’s graduation ceremony.

Hennessey was a member of Trinity’s first state football championship team in 1968 and a champion sprinter who was inducted into Trinity’s first Hall of Fame class in 1993.

He attended Georgia Institute of Technology where he graduated with a business degree.

Hennessey is the owner of Insuramax, one of the city’s top ten insurance agencies, according to a press release from the school.

Dr. Roy Germano, a graudate of 1998, received the 2017 Trinity Peace Medal during the school’s graduation ceremony.

Germano is a research scholar at the New York University School of Law and a part time professor in the university’s master’s of art program in international relations. Germano is the author and producer of five documentary films, including “The Other Side of Immigration” that won the American Library Association Notable Video Award according to a release from the school.
