Training sessions for new marriage ministry will be offered in April

Married couples interested in serving as companion couples to engaged or newly married couples are invited to attend the next training sessions of “Joined by Grace.”

The sessions will be April 12 and 19 from 6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. at St. Thomas More Church, 6105 S. Third St., in the Fisher Room. Couples must complete both sessions.

Another training session will take place April 21 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Basilica of St. Joseph Proto-Cathedral in Bardstown, Ky. This session will include a working lunch.

“Joined by Grace” is a new archdiocesan marriage preparation program designed for millennials — individuals born between the early 80s and the mid-90s.

The cost of materials is $128 per couple and will be billed to their parish. Permission from the parish and pre-registration is required. For more information and to register, contact Deacon Stephen Bowling, director of the Office of Family Ministries, at sbowling@archlou.org.
