Three Boy Scouts from Troop 4 at St. Agnes Church were named Eagle Scouts in the Boy Scouts of America.

Barry Banta, Albert Lynch and Ethan Veliky, all juniors at St. Xavier High School, were recognized at an Eagle Court of Honor April 17.

The young men completed projects to benefit the community as part of their Eagle Scout Leadership Projects.

Banta helped design and build a protective fence for the vegetable and herb garden at the Passionist Earth and Spirit Center.

Lynch aided the Louisville Nature Center by helping to build a bench on a trail and making wooden blocks for a children’s exhibit at the center.

Veliky helped build a ramp and an activity wall for the hippotherapy program (therapeutic horseback riding) at Our Lady of Peace Hospital.
