The Archdiocese of Louisville’s Office of Multicultural Ministry will host the Umoja Community Health & Wellness Fair Sept. 15 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Catholic Enrichment Center, 3146 West Broadway.
Local healthcare providers will offer yoga, aerobic line dancing and tai chi classes during the health fair, a news release said. The Louisville Metro Health Department will offer the Healthy Start for Mom and Baby Program and Diabetes Prevention and Control Class. Bellarmine University’s Physical Therapy Department will host physical therapy screenings. Door prizes, food, health giveaways and popcorn will be offered, the release said. There will also be sign ups for Cub Scouts and Girl Scouts.
