Tea and talk with author of new prayer book scheduled for April 7

St. John Paul II Church, 3042 Hikes Lane, will host a tea and talk with Agnes Kovacs, author of  “A Prayer Book for Catholic Women,” on April 7 at 1 p.m. in the parish’s Hikes Lane Campus Café.

“A Prayer Book for Catholic Women” is a guide for women of all ages who want to deepen their relationship with God, according to an announcement about the event.

“It will enable all women — of every age and at every stage in life — to experience God’s deep love for them and the gift of his grace for each day,” the announcement said.

Kovacs, a native of Hungary, has lived in the United States for 30 years. She currently serves as director of continuing formation at St. Meinrad Seminary and School of Theology.

Those who plan to attend this event should contact Kathleen Riggs at kriggs@stjpiiparish.com or 459-4251, ext. 23.
