Students take part in social justice awareness walk

St. Francis of Assisi middle school students held a social justice awareness walk down Bardstown Road in the Highlands Aug. 16 to show support for victims of violence in Louisville, as well as the victims of recent mass shootings in Dayton, Ohio, and El Paso, Texas. The students also heard from local community leader and anti-violence activist Christopher 2X before taking their message down Bardstown Road.
