Students keep vigil during 40 Days for Life

Students from Corpus Christi Classical Academy in Simpsonville, Ky., held placards written in English and Spanish and prayed the rosary outside the EMW Women’s Surgical Center Oct. 18, the 24th day of the fall 40 Days for Life campaign. The nationwide campaign, which calls for an end to abortion, maintains round-the-clock vigils for 40 days. It is held twice a year, during fall and Lent. The fall campaign started  Sept. 25 and will run through Nov. 3. Archdiocese of Louisville parishes, parishioners and others are invited to take part.
