Sixth-grade students at Our Lady of Lourdes School celebrated the feast of the Epiphany with a yearly tradition.

The students blessed each classroom and the school’s office, chalking the doorways with the inscription: 20 + C + M + B + 24.

The numbers in this formula indicate the new year. The letters have dual meanings. They stand for the names of the wise men — Caspar, Melchior, and Balthasar. And they represent the Latin phrase “Christus mansionem benedicat” (“Christ bless this house”).
