St. Xavier athletes win state championships

St.X logoSt. Xavier High School has won state championship titles in volleyball, tennis, rugby and powerlifting. In addition, the Tiger powerlifting team also won several individual honors.

Griffin Fletcher, Christian Tobbe, Clay Fitzhugh and Jeremy Portillo won individual state championships in their weight class. Christian Tobbe was also recognized for outstanding bench press and deadlift.

Camden Horelick, Nick Ford, Joseph Fisher and Chase Carpenter won second place in their weight classes.
