St. Michael will hold ‘respect life’ activities

The Students for Life Club at St. Michael School is sponsoring a different activity each week during Respect Life Month.

In the first week, students held a “Dimes for Diapers” drive to buy diapers for Jeffersontown Area Ministries.

Students also plan to make get well cards for children receiving treatment at Kosair Children’s Hospital and raise money to pay the fees for refugees to play soccer.

On Oct. 19, Maria Clements, a St. Michael parishioner, will share her immigration story with sixth and seventh graders.

During the final week, students are praying for victims of domestic violence and plan to raise money for that cause by recycling electronics.
