St. Michael in Fairfield to hold celebration of its 226-year history

St. Michael Church in Fairfield, Ky., will celebrate its role as a prominent parish in the history of both Kentucky Catholicism and American Catholicism on Oct. 27. 

Mass will be celebrated at 5 p.m. followed by dinner at 6:30 p.m. in Gardiner Hall. At 7 p.m., parishioner Gilly Simpson will present the history of the 226-year-old parish. The presentation will include skits by parishioners and students in the religious education program.

There is no cost for the event, but donations will be accepted to cover the cost of food. To reserve seats, call 502-303-6196.
