St. Meinrad Archabbey to host Monte Cassino pilgrimages in October

St. Meinrad Archabbey will hold pilgramages to honor the Blessed Mother at the Monte Cassino Shrine during Sundays in October.

The pilgrimages will begin with an opening hymn and short sermon, followed by a rosary procession, and end with the Litany of the Blessed Virgin and a hymn.
Speakers and their topics are:

Oct. 7 — Benedictine Father Meinrad Brune will speak on “Our Lady of the Table: Mary and the Eucharist.”
Oct. 14 — Benedictine Father Adrian Burke will speak on “Vatican II, Mary and the Church.”
Oct. 21 — Benedictine Brother Francis Wagner will speak on “Mary, Our Partner in Prayer.”
Oct. 28 — Benedictine Father Vincent Tobin’s topic will be “Mary, the New Eve.”

Services will be at 2 p.m. Central Daylight Time. The Monte Cassino Shrine is located one mile east of the archabbey on Indiana Highway 62 in St. Meinrad, Ind.
